HEllo guys. I have a movie which has a size of 1.5gB, 1080p blu ray rip and is in MKV format. Now for some unknown reason, my Media player could not FORWARD SEEK (or fast forward) the video. Its an excellent quality rip, i dont want to loose that . Watched half of the movie and now in order to reach that position i will have to play it from the beggining.
FYI this is the Media info report

So please suggest me the best software which can convert an MKV file to an MP4 or AVI format regardless of the codec. But the file size or the quality should remain almost the same. Even if the file size is going to increase by 50% i am not concerned but the quality loss should not be more than 25%.
I have tried several apps like total video converter, Cyberlink Media espresso, snowfox converter, divx converter pro, tmpgenc, etc, etc. None of these work with mkv format.
So please please guys help me out...
TIA
