Guyz pls recommend some good software...I want to extract the best part of TopGear Season #10 and make a compilation.

Google is strewn with more than a million varieties .

I want to know which you use.

My need is

1.Preserve Video Quality
2. Easy To Use Interface
3.Easy Availability (dont recomend some really old s/w which is difficult to find)

Could you elaborate a lil, whats your source (uncompressed avi, VCD, DVD? ) and what is the target version (divx, xvid, DVD, VCD ? ) you are a looking at ?
You can otherwise find a hell lot of guides at videohelp.
