Solar Laptop Charger

Hi
I am looking for solar laptop (12inch screen) charger for in car use.
But the problem is, how much output should the panel have.
Incase the battery along with panel discharges completely, it should be able to power the laptop without car battery power. How much watt and mah should i look for.

anybody having some idea-
A laptop requires how many watts. somewhere between 25 to 75 watts. Any help would be highly appreciated.

i guess the power specs, of the particular laptop you have, should be printed on the ac adapter itself

it say 12volt 5 Amps. It doesnt show the watts required by it, maybe the specs should show but am I not sure where to look for.

I am not sure u are planning to assemble the panel yourself
Watts calculation is easy, it is 12x6=72 watts.

u mean to say 12 volt by 6 amps = 72 watts.

in that case I should buy a higher value somewhere around 100 watts, so that the variation lies within optimum power required.
am I on the right track?
