Fully functional laptop, bought in 2013 - upgraded to windows 10.
This unit gives a battery backup of around 2hrs. ideal for word processing, spreadsheets, and youtube, etc.
I bought it from an official sony dealer, Chennai in 2013 for college work - lost the bill & box.

Note: There is a deep scratch on the right plastic frame, but that doesn't affect functionality in any way.

Is the RAM upgradeable?
I had a 14 inch Vaio E- lasted me for a very long time (I think from 2009 till 2017). This seems to be the 15.6 inch one and its RAM should be upgradeable (I think it's accessible with the hatch that's under the card that has the user id and date written on it- 5th pic, I think). There are 2 slots that come pre-filled with two 2 GB Elpida RAM sticks, if my memory serves me correct. The battery is of very high quality- didn't degrade at all during all the years of use and didn't have to replace it.

Good luck with this sale, OP.

Does it come with original adapter?
Yes, RAM is upgradable and comes with original Sony adapter

You're absolutely right. I've not faced any issues with this laptop so far. Takes me back to the days of assignments and ppt presentations. Thanks for the head-up :)

Can vouch for this laptop model from sony. My friend had the same one in black color. Works fine since 2012. I have personally disassembled his laptop couple of time to clean it up and the quality of internals and assembly is decent. It's kinda heavy though but understandable given the era it's from.

GLWS

EDIT: YGPM, Interested for someone in need.
