The SSD is from my laptop purchased in late 2020. I removed it from the laptop after a year of use for external storage. It is basically the OEM version of WB SN550 and has a thermal pad installed on it by default. Usage details are as indicated in the screenshot.

Update: SSD sold

The enclosure has a generic outer aluminium shell to help with heat dissipation but the board itself uses a Realtek controller for the NVMe bridge, which is much more stable and performant compared to the JMicron ones used in most of the cheaper enclosures. As a result, you can also flash the firmware from other manufacturers that use the same chipset, which are regularly available on the web. It also supports SATA SSD at 5 Gbps (will go with 6 Gbps as that is what the Chipset supports).

The performance is quite good at over 900 Mbps. However, the provided Type C cable is rubbish and works very inconsistently, providing full speeds only when attached in a particular orientation. While I will include it, the suggestion would be to get a better cable.

If you decide to sell the enclosure separately later, please consider me first in line.

Thanks.

please dont remove prices from thread
Okay, I had changed it from the combined price to that of the enclosure after the SSD was sold. But since the enclosure itself was sold the same day, I changed it to 0.

Will keep the price if it helps in acting like a reference, though the final price is always different.
