Hello, my dear BSNL users! I have a good new for the gamers.
If your IP is dynamic(IP gets changed whenever you reconnect to internet), then try the following steps for a better ping;
1. Connect to the internet, and then google 'what is my ip' . Your IP can be seen.
2. Don't close the tab, and open an online game you wish to play, check the ping of the server.
3. Repeat the step 1 and 2 until you get the least/lowest ping.
4. Once you've got the least ping, google 'what is my ip' again and then note down your IP address.
5. After that, open cmd from the start menu, then type ipconfig /all
6. Then, under "Ethernet Adapter Local Area Connection" , DNS servers can be seen, note them down.
For the people using routers only:
7(I). After noting them down, open your Control Panel > Network and Sharing centre > Change adapter settings > Then click on the Local Area Connection, then
click on the "Properties" then click on Internet Protocol V4 > then click > General then > Click on the "Use the following DNS address"
7(II). Add the DNS server IP's you've noted down before, into those columns respectively. Then click OK then enter.
For the people using modems:
7(i). After noting them down, open your Control Panel > Network and Sharing centre > Change adapter settings > Then click on the Broadband Connection, then
click on the "Properties" then click on Networking, then > Internet Protocol V4 > then click > General then > Click on the "Use the following DNS address"
7(ii). Add the DNS server IP's you've noted down before, into those columns respectively. Then click OK then enter.
So, whenever you play the game, check the IP, if you're lucky, you will get the IP with which you get the lowest ping. If you're not, reconnect to internet and check your IP again, it must be the give with which you get the lowest ping. If you're unlucky, you have to repeat the process one more time.
Have a nice day!
