Weird. How will the keyboard work if the com port data cable is detached? Do you mean the problem comes even with another keyboard or without any keyboard?
I tried both ways and couldn't budge it. The middle of the black bar comes up a bit. These things are too tiny to touch so I'm waiting for some tweezers from Amazon. Look at the resistors on the board. Those are like 1mm in size. Probably laser soldered to the board. These miniature circuits are hell to see and do any repairs.
