Some queries before purchasing an APC inverter

our old locally made inverter/ battery just went kaput. so have to buy a new inveter and battery.

i stay in mumbai suburbs we face daily power cuts of arnd 6hrs it is bound to increase in summer time.

i am planning to buy APC inverter. there are two types
1. square wave
2. sine wave.

wht is the difference between the 2 , which one is better,

i will be running fans, lights n sometimes a T.V.

n which battery should i go for

tubular battery or the normal one

wht is the diffrence between them, which one is better suited for me.

and which company should i go for. tubular batteries are expensive are they worth it........

Sine wave and tubular battery is better.

Considering your requirements, square wave inverter would be fine. sine wave inverters are much costlier than square wave. sinewave are generally used for sensitive equipments like PC.
For battery tubular is better and should be 150AH
