Some websites are not opening at night during free hours from BSNL broadband.

I have BSNL broadband 500 Home Plan and have night downloading free from 2am to 8am.
But during that time some websites like google, google images, rapidhare don't work!

I also tried other DNS like following but none worked.
208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220 (Open DNS)

156.154.70.1 and 156.154.71.1 (DNS Advantage)

4.2.2.1 and 4.2.2.2

But when I download from torrents I get full download speed!
This is happened to me for complete this week.

Hmm, weired.. I can access rapidshare, google and all during night free, I am using the same.. Maybe problems in your city connection ports.. ask in BSNL :)

even i m using the same plan

the sites listed by u works good for me.

does that happen at night 2-8 only or same problem throughout the day?

BTW wat speeds do u get in torrents?

its mostly because ur downloading torrents at night

try to stop downloading at night and then open the sites that r not openeing.

the torrents r taking the whole bandwith!!

and BTW, nobody here gets torrents speeds for more than 120-150kBps

ur lucky if ur getting 350-400 kbps.

I didn't say I get that speed for single torrent. I get that combined speed when I run 10+ torrents.

 Dude I am not that noob. Tried it.:P

I think problem must be from BSNL server part. I feel I must contact them.

so wat if u run 10 + torrents

u cant get that speed for home 500 plan

may be u have a higher plan

it means if u download 20 +torrents then ur speed will be 700-800 kbps!!

is that so???

i doubt

Man, its unbelievable.. you get 400kbps downloading speed on Home 500 plan... I think your plan has more speed than 2mbps.. I get 150kbps here on torrents...

It don't depend on how many torrents are you downloading. Even if single torrent is running and have good seeds then it can go for 200KB/s.

is this kilo-BITS or kilo-BYTES dat u all r talking bout???
I am talking about KB/sec and I have home 500 plan.

Yesterday I saw sites have started to open but still have slow speed. I think thats the way the govt services work. Might take time to catch speed.
