i have a tata indicom broadband connection (64kbps unlimited).
since today morning i've been getting this pop-up error message:

"the system has detected a conflict for IP address <ip add> with the system having hardware address <hardware add>"

and it just keeps popping up incessantly!!(very very irritating btw)
& god only knows how i've managed to post this CRY FOR HELP!
 
Presumably youre on LAN, Go to the local area network properties by right clicking on it , select properties, then select tcp\ip protocol from the checklist and view it's properties. Here you would be able to change the ip address.

Example if it is 192.168.1.2 , Change the last digit 2 to 3 or some other single digit number.

That should fix it.
