Its the PAL version. Got it for the updated price of 29,995/-

Currently running it of the bundled AV cable on my Dell 2007WFP. It looks crappy, but still a lot better than what I had expected from AV. Have to work out something to get 720p now.

doesnt matter. as u get only pal games in india.

anyways its region free so even if u have ntsc j system u can play pal games.

Sure you will be able to play PS3 games as long as they remain region free... But you wont be able to play Indian DVD movies's or PS2 (PAL) games.

Sony has announced price cuts for Playstation games. Its already started on the PS2 games. Soon PS3 games will also be cheaper in India.
