No Sonic fans here? I started the game yesterday night and it reminded me of the original classic platformer I had played back on the ancient Pentium MMX system. :')

Completed the intro level.

one hell of a game.. love the 2d part reminds me of the good all bit 8/16bit cartridge gaming .. and the modern sonic is just plain crazy fun fast action...

I've played it for about 1.5 hours. I really really love the fast pace of the new sonic, old sonic is boring. But i might not pursue this title any more, not that interesting.

naah i play it one level per day sometimes when im sick of getting pawned in bf3... im currentlly stuck at the part where u need to complete 3 challenges to unlock the next level ....

Beat the first boss yesterday and the battle was pretty funny. Just like the good old times. :D

So in essence there are a bunch of levels and each level has 2 acts. Both the acts need to be completed in order to save the character. Then, attempt the challenges to get the keys that unlock the boss battle chapter. That's it, no?

Exactly. I was bored to death in every old sonic level. Modern sonic levels are teh sh1t.

Defeated the second boss yesterday. Progressing pretty slowly thanks to the winter. :@

Indeed! The 2D side scrolling levels have become a boring affair. Thank goodness each level lasts a mere 5~7 minutes. The challenges for unlocking the keys are pretty simple.

Completed the game a while back. It was pretty decent but the game concluded pretty quickly. After the first 3 boss battles concludes (which btw happens after their respective levels are unlocked with the keys), the remaining 3 happen in quick successions in a span of about 10~15 minutes with no challenges to be completed nor keys to be unlocked. The final boss battle happens when all the gems are retrieved from the respective bosses and it concludes pretty quickly. Most boss battles may take a couple of tries but that's about it - not a challenge per se. But nonetheless it was a good platformer and I am glad that I got hold of a Sonic title and completed it after almost 15 years! :D
