Sony Bravia + Local Cable users plz help

Hi guys, i have a Sony Bravia KLV-42-S550 & local cable tv connection, now the problem is whenever i change channels there is a 1 sec delay between them, so whenever i change channels it seems as if TV is turned off for a second.
I had Samsung 32" tv but i never faced such problem with same cable connection.

Is there any solution? Do other Sony models have same problem?

I remember seeing the same delay with my bro's 40 V series and local cable...think its inherent of Sony LCDs.
 
It happens with my Sony Bravia TV too. I guess some TVs have this and some not, depends on brand. Nothing to worry about.
 
hmmm i guess i need to get used with this delay :(, also Sony Customer Care didnt get a word what i was saying to them (tried both english & hindi :bleh: )
 
Oh I got Sony Bravia 22 inch LCD few months back, didn't have time to take local cable. This doesn't sound good to me, as I am used to swapping channels quickly.
