Sony Cybershot Vs Canon Powershot which is the best VFM

Please suggest which among theses is the best Value for money.
Sony cybershot DSC-W130/150 Vs Canon Powershot SD1100.
 
well of the cameras u have mentioned the canon is better in all parameters like image quality,speed etc.and since both are priced the same u can go for the canon,also check out the Fuji FinePix F50fd is a another excellent camera.
 
I use a Sony W-150 and will vote for it
reasons
W-150 has far superior 30MM wide to 150MM tele zoom- as against 38-114mm in canon ( hardly wide & hardly tele !!)
Better & larger LCD
Better battery life ( will take 400 shots on full charge)- canon will hardly take 200+
f you want a compact camera with a wide-angle 5X zoom lens, image stabilization, and fun point-and-shoot features, then it's worth checking out the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W150
picked mine from Indiaplaza for 11.5k- but is now down to 11k
 
Now i am totally confused...i was planning to opt for Canon...and now i am having second thoughts about getting a Canon....the point of view on Sony by vijayshimla looks quite impressive....please somebody make me get rid of my misery by telling me...which one to opt for...:)
 
the canon has better colors and each pixel has more detail the sony sensor.canon movie performance is also better then the sony.
 
thanks alot guys....i am going ahead with Canon....and since this is the festive season i hope to get some good deals....:jumpy:
