Which dvd-writer should i buy sony dw-q120a or sony dru-820a ?

its urgent....

i m from guwahati n it cost around 3k.....

my pc is halting at windows startup for 20 seconds n then starts....i dont know why is it halting...is it due to 820a model?

I m waitin for Benq 1670 firmware....so that i can crossflash sony dru-820a to Benq 1670
 
i always thought dru 820 was a no go drive, thats y 1670 is not being launched by benq.

i think u should stay away frm dru 820.
 
I think you could have tried LiteON ALLWrite DVD Writer. It supports all possible fornmats of DVDs includind DVD RAMs. It selling for around Rs. 2700/- in Nehru Place, New Delhi.
 
goin by the current scenario....i'd get a sony 810A n flash it to the Benq 1640...coz it has a better firmware support...

And i just hope Benq comes up with better firmwares for the Benq 1650
