Hey guys,
I just bought myself a P1i (without GPS) and i was wondering whether i can get this headphones for navigation along with Google Maps mainly for Mumbai. Does google maps have navigation support in Mumbai ? and are there any other free Maps which i can use? i.e anything other than Satguide etc. Besides i don't need voice guidance etc. Something like GTA VC/SA ka radar will do :P
P.S Whats the price of the headphones and where is it available?

You dont need gps for google maps to work on the phone right ? It calculates your position based on cell phone tower triangulation

keep it in ur pocket and it should work during walk too.

Should work with Touch and yes they ship to India and the price is including shipping. Although u need maps which u have to procure locally from Satnav or mapmyindia.

The one I mentioned has got pretty good review.

I guess they should work with google maps. which are free.

payment for maps is a one time affair - unless u want to upgrade to latest version.

I dont know about google maps - but IMO it needs GPRS for downloading the maps - cant work totally offline.

however some *ahem* versions of destinator/ satnav oneindia map and mapmyindia map is available. search the web or pm me.

It does retrieve my current location through Wi-fi when i am at home. But when i define a start point and an end point, It says no route found. I guess gmaps doesn't support navigation in mumbai yet.
