Sony Erickson is dumping its own Memory Stick Micro cards(M2) in favor of Micro SD in its handsets.

SE has taken this decision as the future of Sony was a Big question.

k850i did support microsd along with m2. hopefully all future phones do the same.

and if read in the article, micro usb charger, so does it mean the end of fast port connector ?

Finally.... Good news. Hate both the M2 card and the fast port connector in my K810i. The card is still costly and the connector becomes loose very often. Already changed 2 hands-free because of that.

Thats actually a great step . I never liked this sony's M2 cards. Couldn't be used in other mobiles . SE now rocks

They are dumping the Complete M2 sticks.
