Sony Ericsson annouces the P990i smartphone
Sony Ericsson has announced today the P990i, which is the first commercially available smartphone to contain Symbian OS version 9.1 and UIQ 3 software platform. Wi-Fi enabled, this UMTS smartphone will allow data communication between devices located in the same coverage area.

Other features of the Sony Ericsson P990i include a 262k color (240 x 320 pixel) display, touch screen, QWERTY keyboard, WLAN, Bluetooth, a 2 megapixel camera, video recording, media player, FM radio with RDS, 64 MB of memory and slot for up to 4 GB removable memory.

The Sony Ericsson P990i will be available in first quarter of 2006.

Sounds bloody good.

I always wanted to pick up the 910i. Now with this model coming in, I'm guessing the 910i should settle at a reachable price.
