Sony Ericsson W950 Symbian?

well i have recently decided to buy a Sony Ericsson W950
but im a little confused... is this thing running on symbian or sumthing else?

cuz on all the sites it states tht it is running this operating system:

Symbian 9.1 OS with the UIQ 3.0 user interface

so does this mean i can install all Symbian 9.1 apps???
 
No.. its UIQ 3.0 based on symbian, its totally diffrent from Nokia series 60 phones, however most of the softwares are usually made for both the phones.. :)
