Sony Ericsson Xperia x10 taking lot of time to charge

Hi

My recently bought Xperia x10 is taking hell lot of time to charge aprox ( 10 hours ).
Is this normal for x10? If not plz suggest me what to do? I am on default 2.1 SE Rom.

It depends. If you bought brand new recently then you should firstly charge it for 6-8 hrs. If you have done so then how much backup are you getting in days?
If its discharging too fast then it has issues.
Also if still its taking hell lot of charging time then it is afaik doing a fake charging.
Happened to my cellphone recently. Sent to nokia and now the issue is resolved.

So send it to a service center.
 
New ones do take 8 hrs...

Try charging completely, once it depletes to about 5% recharge to 100.. See the Time taken then...

I have done the drain cycle 5 to 8 times but its not of much help. The phone battery also does not last much long 1.5 days at max. Seems like i need to take it to SE center :(
 
I am facing this problem with Nokia 5800 Xm but its a 2.5 yrs old already so I guess I should live with it. In your case it seeems like a battery problem. send it to SE asap.
 
I have an X10 mini and it lkasts 3 days with its 930mAH battery

My friends x10 lasts 2 Days..

I suggest you to try a different charger. It might be a problem of the Charger..

BTW Did you change your battery?

I have tried with my champ charger but same result the battery is new its only 1 month old mobile
