sony h50 or anything else for 20k ?

a pal has decided on getting the sony h50. the price for the same is abt 20k now ..is it worth the buy ? at first i advised him to skip the idea and get the s5is instead...or is it beter to get to get the sony h50 itself....very confusing decision.....please advise....

H50 Pros -
30mm wide-angle
Li-ion battery
IR mode

S5IS Pros:
Better articulating screen

Keep the Panasonic FZ18 also in your sights. Cheaper than the H50 and the S5. And 27mm on the wide-angle side. :)

^^ Good choice ! Unfortunately the Panny is too expensive with warranty. A(~26k) Otherwise it would have been a better camera.
