QX100 makes sense.. but QX10 does not for me. 1/2.3-inch is just another digicam sensor. But RX100's sensor on a phone is a killer. Pricing though is a bit high.. for QX100's price, u can get NEX 3N(though non pocketable but with APS-C sensor)

So what do you guys think?
Is any of them worth putting down my money on.
Depends how urgently you need it. They require a phone with NFC or wifi direct to work. Neither of these lenses will sync with a flash for now. The optical 10x zoom is the high point with the dx10.

I'd wait for other companies to come out with wifi lenses. There is no competition in this space as yet. I expect the sensor size to grow, these offerings have small sensors. See this article to get an idea just where these two lenses stand in comparison to DSLRs.

How come this thing is compatible with iPhone 5 ? I think i saw somewhere a pic of this device being used on iPhone 5. Does it have wifi direct ? Because it does not have NFC.

And a gadget's worth is how urgent you want it because it is usually not a need and a want and if you have cash to spend then buy it now itself and be an early adopter. I love them to beta test a product for consumers like me.

Yes both have wifi direct, takes more time to pair than NFC.

Thing is wifi cert for iphone 5 does not indicate wifi direct. So the software fools the iphone into thinking its an AP to associate with it.
