Sony SmartWatch Launching for Rs. 6299 By June End
Sony SmartWatch which was announced at this year's CES is finally making its way to India in June 2012 . This was confirmed by Sony on their Facebook Page , the SmartWatch will be launching in India by end of June and will retail for Rs 6299 .
The SmartWatch is a wearable display measuring 1.42 inches tall by 1.42 inches wide and 0.3 inch thick, it can be worn as a watch or can be clipped to clothes . The Smartwatch connects to Android smartphone using Bluetooth 3.0 technology and can be used to control the phone's music player and view information like calls , sms , e-mail , Facbook , twitter etc .
Various applications can be installed on the phone either directly through the Sony LiveWare's list of suggested apps or by searching the Google Play store which are displayed on the watch , it doesnt store any data in itself except time .
