As mentioned in Sony vs Apple thread, I am wondering which laptop to buy. One question that remains in my mind is how is Sony's after sales service? I am starting another thread for this because I feel that this question is important for potential Sony VAIO buyers and therefore should not be sidelined. Another question that needs to be answered is whether one should go for the extended warranty as Sony VAIO components are quite expensive.
