Laptops Sony Vaio International Warranty

Hey all, I just a got a Sony Vaio SZ58N/C imported from HongKong. Can anyone tell me how to set up the international and local warranty in India requirements. I tried registering on sonystyle.hk but they require a local HK address. I haven't got the bill with me, it was bought from HK Airport, but can get it. Thanks.

international warranty ... hmmm Sony India dose not cover it and definitely not the onsite support.. thats what my friend who owns SONY world shop in Thane (mumbai suburb ) told me ....
 
i seriously doubt sony is going to give ur laptop warranty coverage in india.. u c sony india is really stuck up about servicing only products sold by them (and for some reason they dont regard sony in us or singapore as a part of the same group of companies as them)

Probably one of their tricks to try an boost their sales whch go down cause of the exorbitant margins they want..
 
Hey, this was not grey, bought from Official Sony. Have all documentation, cost a bomb but still cheaper than India.
