What are the words to that R.E.M song... "It's the end of the world?" DigiTimes is reporting that Tetsuhiko Yasuda, Sony Computer Entertainment Asia’s corporate executive managing director and senior vice president of Asia (phew!) expects strong shipments of the PS3 in 2006, he also foresees a PS3 roll out throughout Asia within the same time frame. Yasuda does not believe however, that there will be a global launch. Now here's the real kicker:

"Sony does not regard Xbox as a competitor. Rather, the company may even consider working with Microsoft to develop games together."

Um, yeah. Next Gen God of War on Xbox 360. On the far outside chance that would ever happen (read: not in a squillion years), it would be pretty darn cool, kinda like the ultimate Marvel/DC crossover.

I'm just waiting for the chance for Getaway3 and MGS4 to port over to X360.
 
i guess that will only happen if bill gates buy sony...........in short....microsoft overtakes sony......

btw i want to know lik mittal running for arcelor.....why does billu doesnt run for sony...i guess bill is still the richest animal on earth
 
Why would he want to take on a loss making enterprise? Sony has been making losses for years in the consumer electronics division. Hell, if it weren't for their media division and the playstation, that company would have been bankrupt long ago.
 
Microsoft - Sony Merger will be really benefecial for all the gamers { I know thats not goin to happen } As Long as I am getting new good games I really dont care if sony is making profit or loss. BTW Halo 3 on PS3 would be really sweet !
