To clarify doubts, this does not have ANC but on the flip side the microphone quality is better than something like the XM3 which has microphones tuned for ANC rather than voice.

The sound signature for this is different from the XM and XB series in the sense that it is much more balanced and thus I liked it better.

Most importantly, this is extremely light with a great fit compared to the horrible fit of the XM3 and at least I liked the physical buttons more than the capactive ones.
