Sony will also not allow Manhunt 2 on their systems!!!

David Karraker, a PR spokesperson for Sony has stated that it's SCE's policy not to allow the playback of AO rated content on their systems, therefore Manhunt 2 making an appearance on the Playstation formats is out of the question. So it looks like Rockstar will seriously be forced to edit the game in a bid to lower its classification, or else they will be blocked from all video game platforms.

Its been covered in the previous thread, and its not just Sony, its M$ as well. All Ninny, Sony and M$ have an Anti-AO-rated games policy for their consoles.

It is indeed very sad, least to expect from Sony.
 
They should have done the smart thing and released it on PC. Seriously though, this "we don't want no AO rating game on our consoles" is complete BS.
 
Ok then, tell me what according to you is going "too far"? Or you feel that more violence and gore just makes the game cooler?

Dude, Godfather on the Wii already exists. A game where you go around shooting people off and beating people with blunt objects whenever you get the chance. All done by mimicking with the Wiimote. I don't mind as long as I know it's not real. I don't really feel like Manhunt2 has overstepped any boundary of sorts that existing games already have(read as haven't).

What's wrong with us? We just happen to like gore, and we exist in plenty. In Hollywood, a type of movies exist to cater our gore needs, a good example is the SAW series :P

Talking seriously, there is nothing wrong with Manhunt. Its just adding more realism - That's it!

In GTA, its hardly relevant to kill a poor helpless old female pedestrian, whereas in Manhunt, you feel and think about even killing a thug. And we want this since some of us here are at an age to handle such stuff.
 
The obviosu solution is to bring ti to PC. Why the hell are they being so dumb ?? Why dont they bring it to PC and make a ton of money ??
