Sony Xperia go up for pre-order in India for Rs. 18,999



Sony's Xperia Go is now available for pre-order in India via Flipkart. The durable Android smartphone (It is water-proof and dust-proof) was announced in May this past month. The phone has a 3.5 inch reality display which is powered by a Mobile bravia engine and it is powered by a 1 GHz dual cored processor and the phone runs on Gingerbread 2.3 OS (which is upgradeable to ICS Android 4.0).

The phone is 9.8 mm thick and it weighs in at a 110 grams. The phone also has a 5 Mega Pixel auto focus camera with flash and it also supports 720p video recording, a 3.5 mm jack to connect your favourite headphone, FM radio with RDS. Other features include 512 MB of internal RAM, a 1305 mAh internal battery, and also 8 GB of internal storage. The connectivity options are 3G, Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA and aGPS.

The Sony Xperia Go is now available for pre-order from the Indian online retailer Flipkart, for Rs. 18999. It is expected to be available to the general public from next week onwards.

HVGA screen in 18k :O why sony cant make a perfect phone . xperia u - no card slot , xperia sola - no front cam , xperia go - crap screen :|
 
OP forgot to post the USP of this phone - durability. As in, its supposedly water-proof and dust-proof. :P
 
if u r buying a mobile phone get one with the best battery like razr maxx. the point is to be anywhere not near a plug point with adapter.
