The Sony Xperia J has now been launched in India after it went on preorder a few days back as reported by Roboghost here. The Android smartphone is a pretty impressive looking device and it is quite thin as well at 9.2 mm. The device has a 4.0 inch capacitive touch screen running at a screen resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. The phone will be upgradeable for Android 4.1 JellyBean, but currently it only runs ICS, Android 4.0. The new Xperia runs on a 1750 mAh battery.
The rear camera is a 5 MegaPixel unit which also has an led flash and also has a front vga camera for video chat. It has 512 MB internal RAM, and an internal memory of 4 GB which can be upgraded to a max of 32 GB using a microSD card. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-fi 802.11 b/g/n with DLNA, Bluetooth and aGPS.
