Sony Xperia P to get the ICS update in a couple of weeks
The Sony Xperia P is a decent smartphone which also has one of the brightest displays on a smartphone nowadays. But still it is stuck with the over a year old Android 2.3 Gingerbread, even though Android 4.0 ICS has already been out for many months.
But very soon that is about to change since the Sony Xperia P will be updated to Android 4.0 in only a few weeks. It was mentioned on Sony Mobile's Facebook page, that the new software update will start rolling out later this month, between August 19 and 25.
So Xperia P owners can rejoice as they'll be getting a brand new experience very soon. People having this phone should check for the update via settings in the coming weeks.
