Sony Xperia Z and Xperia ZL get price drop and exchange offer

After Samsung went on offering Rs 5000 in exchange of old smartphone while buying the Note II, Sony has also come up with similar offer in which is giving discount on its Xperia Z and Xperia ZL.



The Xperia Z is available for Rs 33,790 after the discount and the Xperia ZL is available for Rs 30,690.



However it seems that the prices have been dropped without the exhange offer. The Xperia Z which had Best Buy price of Rs 38,790 is now available for Rs 33599 from online retailer Saholic.

India Today reports that the prices have been dropped to Rs 33,990 for the Xperia Z and Rs 29,490 for the Xperia ZL but the online prices are yet to reflect the price drop. It seems that Sony is making way for its flagship phablet Xperia Z Ultra which is on the way.

Is that the full price or are local taxes going to add to it ? Lets say for any place except bombay.

Was just browsing locla shops and the guy said the best he could offer was 37.8k.

Then i went to another shop and these guys were offering a refurbished Z with one year manufacturer warranty for 27k

What do people make of refurbs ?
