Hm... sooner or later I assume this sensor or its siblings are gonna find its way into Nikon DSLRs. Earlier that happens, better for Sony cos it doesnt know how to make proper cameras .
At the times when CCD was considered the only good ones and CMOS as inferior and cheap, Canon equipped their SLRs with CMOS and they were the first to feature full size (24mmx36mm) sensors.
