just bought altec mx5021 after much research and reading reviews on this site...thanks TE

looking for a decent sound card for the speakers since my onboard audio sucks big time...

would have gone for xonar dx but unfortunately don't have a pci-e slot( ancient mobo :bleh: )...d1 not available in india yet..:(

considering m-audio revo 7.1 and audigy 2 zs...
will be using speakers only for music on the comp..and for movies & games on my 360...music is main priority

i'm no audiophile..so i'm asking is it worth to spend the xtra 2k on the m-audio??

and also my 360 has an optical output for which i need a toslink cable..?? how would i connect that to my 360? plz bear wit me, i'm a noobie at this...:S

waiting for ur inputs...:ohyeah:

I have the maudio 7.1 powering my Altec Lansing MX5021. Prior to that i had the Audigy ZS (was using it as an interim). And i quite liked the sound coming out of the Maudio 7.1 compared to the Audigy.

But yesh only spend more on the maudio if u think its worth it. So try getting a demo somewhere with both cards and decide which one u should buy.
