Soundbar for TV

Looking for a soundbar (without subwoofer) to pair with my TV whose speakers are getting worse with age... budget is 4-6k

Priority is watching movies, OTTs series, etc. i.e. clarity in vocals (mids and highs). Don't want anything bass heavy i.e. boat.
 
Given that there's a lot less innovation on the core of the soundbar (speaker diaphragm and drivers) you would really be best served by a good used sound bar. maybe a jbl bar 2.1.
