I am building an HTPC but te mobo i am using has only AC97 2.1 audio.
I want a basic 5.1 sound card which will be used in a 4.2 setup.
It will be used only for movies.
Price should be hopefully aroung 1.5-2K.Which one should i get?
I saw a generic Intex 5.1 one at a local shop for about 350 Rs
Presumably it has a Yamaha chip inside(written on the box)would it be enough?
Also can i add a front speaker later if i use a 4.2 setup?how much will it cost?
