The X-Mystique 7.1 looks a nice peice of hardware.

Earlier i knew about Creative range of sound cards only but since i joined TE
came to know that there are others sound cards also who are as gr8 as Creative

Not 'as' great as creative........they're much much better. Its just that we were never exposed to any other options.
Just like for high end audio, indians think bose is so great, whereas if you ask any true audiophile, you'll hear " No highs, No lows, must be Bose".

LOL Bose = Buy Other sound equipment :p. Had read abt this card long back on avsforums. If creative doesn't have dd encoding on the new X-Fi or whatever, it might be in serious trouble. Its an extremely important feature for most HTPC enthusiasts... the number 1 market for high end sound cards.

Unfortunately, its not the no1 market, if you see the driver support offered by high end companies like M-Audio, EMU, RME, or Lynx. M-Audio did offer bass management, but there have been no updates on that.

Cool.....but i made it up for it......I have BOSE Speaker System......complete with surround sound and dolby digital........cost me 23K....knew the wholesaler and he says that I got it cheap?
