Hi mod/admin,

I have been in TE since days of its inception. Same on FE.

Lalely i m disturbed by way one of the member is using pvt msg to push people to "vote" on so called elections of FE !!!.

Hi Buddy,

As you may or may not have noticed, for the first time in the history of FunEnclave we are having elections to choose a member for the post of Member's Representative. ...........

...........So please do us a favor and vote for me.

Honestly spe4aking atleast the top brass of site should maintain a decorum of not sending such marketing pvt msg to those who dont need it.

Nothing against you bluffy personally. Just a bit pissed to see a pop up coming up every day for last 3 days intimating me of pvt msg.
 
Lol.... so he is canvassing. But one thing I have noticed on FE they are very up-tight regarding any discussions related to TE? So I suppose this should go on the FE's feedback section...
 
Sorry for the inconvenience. I'll take up this issue with bluffy in FE.

Edit : We do not encourage any such canvassing out of FE.
 
OK, first of all let me apologize for any kind of inconvenience caused. Now please allow me to give a clarification. As you guys know, we are having elections on FE for the first time and I am one of the 3 contestants. As a contestant, we are allowed to campaign for the election in any way we see fit. Only senior members of FE are allowed to vote and there aren't many senior members to begin with. The members I messaged on TE were all part of FE at some point and had acquired the status of a senior member there. Now since they were inactive now, it was my duty to inform them of the coming elections and ofcourse persuade them to vote for me. Since TE was the only medium to reach them, I chose TE.

Also, I considered the members I messaged on TE as my friends and it was meant to be a personal message, it had nothing to do with TE or FE or spamming.

Sam, mate you have taken so much of your precious time just to create this thread in hopes of perhaps creating an issue out of it and enjoying the fiasco thereafter. I ask you now, was this really needed? Was your intention behind this not to ridicule me in public and get some fun out of it?

You talk about the various PMs I sent you, buddy a simple two word PM of "No Thanks" would have sufficed. Had you replied to my first PM with a NO, I would have not pestered you any longer. The other PMs were just sent as a reminder PMs informing you that the Voting lines are now open and you can cast your vote on the Link provided. The other reason I sent you the other 2 PMs was because I didn't get any reply from you, I thought maybe you didn't receive my earlier PM. My intention was not to spam you mailbox.

Once again, I apologize, I am the only one to be blamed for this. Please do not bring FE or TE in the middle here, didn't knew you guys hated FE so much that you couldn't even ignore 3 PMs sent to you over a period of 3 days informing you about a progress on FE.

I also apologize to the other members who I PMed, but let me remind you guys, I only did it as a friend and did not mean to "spam" you PM box. Udit, I think I have cleared your doubts now.
