Hi,I needed a Speaker set for my old rig...:)

A plain and simple speaker system and withing a budget of 400..;)

I got hold of this Logitech R10 speakersIt costs about 345 at ITDepot.

Any idea how much it might cost at Lamington or would it be the same as ITdepot...

All of them are really basic. I remember picking up a pair of those R10 speakers for my ex when I gifted her my old machine, and they sound like piss. The only ones I found slightly bearable were the old Altec Lansings which they don't sell anymore, but those were around 600. They were tinpots too, but slightly thicker 'tin' so the sound wasn't as unbearable. The Creative ones are even worse, and I remember a colleague showing off a pair of JBLs. Till he plugged them in, that is.

Have you considered headphones? There may be better cans available in that range than speakers.

Logitech R-10
Undoubtedly, the best feature of the R-10 is its value for money. If there's a better pair of basic PC speakers then we'd really like to know about them.

wats d price of SBS45 & BXR1120..?

try second hand dude Speakers dont die very easily- max problem will be a noisy volume control. i just got a pair of cheap second hand 2.1's for a friend from someone who's upgrading :D

Hey anyidea about wats d current price of the Logitech R-10 at Lammy ..??
coz I asked a local dealer in chembur & he quoted me 575:O while at ITDepot it was 405(345+60):S

If U got Numbers of any shops at lammy, post it here so tat I can call up n check it also needed some other stuffs..:cool2:
