I have a PC with the following config.

Intel P4 3.0 Ghz HT
Intel 915 GAV MOBO
1GB DDR(2*512 MB)
80GB HDD
XFX 6600 Non Gt PCIE(128MB)
CD Writter
DVD Drive
TV Tuner Card
Internal Modem
Web Cam
800 watts Microtek Speakers
15" CRT Monitor
422 watts zebronics SMPS
500 VA UPS(velsine)
Now i wants to upgrade the ordinary 800 watts speakers to a 4:1 Speaker.
1) So please tell me the best 4:1 Speakers (with Woofer) with Price.
2) I have Intel 915 GAV MOBO. Please tell me the onboard sound card is enough for the 4:1 Speakers or Not.

For 4K you can squeeze in a 5.1. However you'll get much better audio quality if you get a quality 2.1 like ATP3 instead. Low end 5.1 systems dont sound very good.

Altec Lansing doesn't state PMPO. That 800W that your microtek states is rubbish. An 800W speaker would probably be 10 feet high with atleast 6-8 8-10" drivers :P. The ATP3 is around 30W RMS I think. An SB Live 24bit will cost you around 1500 bucks. Thats your best bet for that speaker.

If you're into gaming and movies, I'd suggest the Altec 251. They're around 4K, and very decent for the price.

Hey ..
