speaker within range of 3k

hi guys.. few time back i planned to buy speaker that was "ALTEC LANSING ATP3".
please suggest me some good choices with prices n pros-cons for the same..
if that wouldnt happend wi might go with ATP3 one..
suggest me.. thnx alot.

+1 to what nuke suggested.........in the range of 3k ur best pick is the ATP3......
pros : excellent sound which can blow any other 2.1 or even 4.1 in the 3k range...super bass...

cons : if u want to blast them at full volume all the time ensure u have a good sound card...onboard ones will be a bit crappy at higher volumes.

Edit : last time got it for a pal for rs.2650 inc. tax and vat (mumbai) should be lesser now....
