Need for my room. abt 160 sq. ft

I have the Altec Lansing Mx 5021 now. But i want the surround effect. Mainly for music. I know 2.1 is better for music. But i want the surround effect. :P

I prefer high treble and relatively much lower bass. Keeping that in mind any suggestions??
 
I dont see a sound card in your config(Siggy)... Better buy that before jumping on to a new set of speakers ;)
 
^^Yea, do u already have an existing soundcard? And post ur budget+budget for soundcard if need be. I can tell u go for the Gigaworks 750 and then if u come back and post u have a budget of say 10k it wont be of any help will it? ;)

Budget 15k which includes sound card. It is possible to stretch it be 1-2k also if there is some real awesome system u are suggesting.

z-5500 is logitech right?? I dont like the looks of it. :bleh: Thats abt 10k i heard.

Plz suggest a sound card too.

I already have Mx-5021. So i'd like the speakers whoever is suggesting to be better than them.
(i'm not saying megaworks is bad. I donno abt them. i'm just saying this so ppl suggest accordingly)
 
Well, when it comes to pure sound qualty nothing can beat the MX 5021. If you want surround, then you have to accept slightly less quality
 
In the given budget the only choice is the z-5300 i think. So the rest of the budget for a soundcard. Hmm, will a Audigy 2 ZS come in that budget?(5k)
 
Nothing is better than the 5021s under 15K
For 15k, get a souncard, and another pair of 5021s :bleh: That way you'll have the best possible 4 channel sound.

Oh man.. i was waiting for a 5.1 system similar to 5021. I have the pic of the one the are planning to launch (since a year). Approx price 25,000. I have that pic saved somewhere. I shall post it. MAN!!!!

Lemme know if u guys have any info on when this is gonna be launched.
 
Found it. its called the HMX 7051.

Read somewhere it was to be priced at around 25k. This i read a year back. But this system hasnt been launched anywhere as yet.

Isn't it just too awesome?
