Speakers For PC/Laptop

Friends,

For time being(7-12Months) i need a good set of speakers for PC n Laptop,i read on forum that soundcard plays an imp role in sound reproduction,so i am aware of this fact and i have to live with on board soundcard.
The speakers are req mainly for music(95%)My future plan is to get USHER s520 n a matching SUB and Amps to make a 2.1 setup.
I need a good VFM setup for noraml day to day use and with good sub.I will stay away from 5.1 setups

Plz suggest.
 
though i havent heard it personally Altec Lansing MX 5021 are one of the most tried and tested on TE. recommended by many people..

if you dont mind a 2.0 setup you can look at Audio Engine AE2's

no idea about Kilpsch Pro media but if i am not mistaken they are also very good ...

i think MX5021 it should be..cause it's cheaper than the other contenders and it's anyways gonna be a temporary setup .
 
Friends,i need to buy a system with dedicated speaker for low frequencies.
Can some one quote rate of Mx 5021.

^^ even Alectec lansing VS4121 (not 2421) are quiet good ..if u are on a budget and dont want to spend too much now.

VS4121 is the successor of the famous ATP3. and sounds equally good if not better.

and yeah they sell for around 2.7-3 k
