Buy the altec lansing mx 5021 for around 9k. Amazing spkrs. THX certified. Super clarity.

on more vote for mx5021 got it recently very good sound quality:hap2: :clap: p.s try to get good quality songs i mean encoded at a higher bitrate u can easily make out the differences in these speakers if the encoding is not good

i dont think the mx5021 quality is better than the z680/5500. but thats just my opinion & the music i listen to.

Yes Altec Lansing Mx 5021 2.1 speakers are REALLY REALLY Gr88,I heard it 2 day,in a IT showroom.Whatever it is technicaly rated(power),it sounded even MUCH MORE BETTER than my 300W RMS Sony DVD HIFI system.I was really blown away by it'ssheer depth,warmth,fullness(whatever u call) of its LFE Bass.it's immense potential from such a SMALL(dimension) speaker! & its THX SPEAKS/sounds for itself.One plain Saying "IT ROCKKKKS"!

But very sadly,i DESPERATELY want SUch A High -Quality speaker(like 5021) ,but a 5.1 channel for myself,but NOT GETTING the RIGHT CHOICE!(BUDGET IS 10-12k),want it with inbuilt H/W dolby/dts decoders,together with IR Remote,but not getting a right choice.So can Any one (All the TE Gurus) help me & advice genuinely?
