Speakers under 10k

I'm looking for speakers non portable with good and loud sound. I'm actually looking for some bookshelf speakers just because of less clutter but 2.1 systems are also acceptable so far I've shortlisted only 1 speaker which is ironically a 2.1 system

I'm open to other options too if the quality offered is good. Primary connection rather the only connection used to play music will be my phone or an ipod.

Logitech Z623s sound excellent and is the best value for money in that range. JBL Soundsticks too are perfect for your requirement, if you can stretch your budget by a bit. It has added advantage of being Bluetooth ready.

Consider the Swans M10. Especially, your purpose will be only music and pair it with a DAC from FiiO's.
