Audio Speakers under 2000 for video calls and movies

I need a pair of speakers or 2.1(not absolutely necessary) for watching movies and for video calls. This will be connected to my desktop computer. The room is about 150sqft and I will always be less than 3 feet from the speakers. I am usually using earphones but would like to reduce the usage of earphones.
