hi need 2.1 channel speakers budget around 10-12grands which one is the best out there i am frm mumbai p.s strictly 2.1 channel speakers plz thank u
 
Hmm Seriously 10-12k for 2.1.. The best speakers for that price would be Logitech 5300 5.1 THX certified speakers for 12-13k
Otherwise Altec Lansing ATP3 for 3k is awesome too
 
Altec Lansing MX5021 is the best in that range. Costs around 8.5-9K. One of the mods here has one and he's really happy with it. Along with the speakers invest in a good sound card. Atleast a SB Live 24bit, maybe something better. An M-Audio Revo/Audiotrak prodigy/terratec aureon would be really cool.
 
ya was gonna say the same speakers chaos said.

they are for 10k but i think. maybe price gone down. btw aces atp3 are nowhere close to these. heh
 
ya aces if u want 5.1 they are great.

but that guy wants 2.1 as he has mentioned. & those altec 1's are really high quality speakers
 
last time i chechked from trifin in delhi they were for 10k i think there ware another good looking pair/ithink flat speakers for 11k (75watts rms probably)
 
My friend has the mx5021, almost studio quality sound on his m-audio.

Totally flat sound, no cheapo (unrealistically tight) bass/treble reproduction.

the speakers rock. i bought them for 9800/- in mumbai in dec '04. and i checked 2 days back.. the price is still the same.

the sound clarity is superior to anything i have ever heard. it will put bose systems to shame.

i have a sidey sound card.. cretive vibra 128. the music still sounds awesome. so just invest in the speakers and change the sound card sometime later.

mx 5021 is 9500 yesterday , enquired at computer selection. along with it buy a creative soundblaster 24 bit sound card ( 7.1 support ) for 1950.
