Splinter Cell Chaos Theory very low FPS

Hm, Im wondering where you guys bought the game from (if indeed yall bought it :P ). Im in Pune, India and didnt find it on any of the supermarket shelves :(

Umm ...max we are talking about the demo here ;)
 
SC versions have a bad habit of making decent hw look bad.Back in 2002 when the original game came out,it choked on the then very capable gf3,running at >30fps only on gf4 ti and above.However that it chokes a great card like the 6600gt is still surprising.
 
Hmm it aint surprising SC chokes all mid range cards at full detail. If it choked an X800Xl or a 6800 GT then that would be surprising.

Everquest 2 chokes an X850 XT PE too at full details in 1280*1024...
 
Well just turn off soft shadows. Thats what really kill FPS.
I am playing this with SM3.0 on 6600GT with 2XAA and 4XAF and FSP between 20-30 HDR on.
