Split screen gaming help

Guys as you know many racing games support split screen multiplayer racing, i wanna know Can i use one system, attach two monitors to its GPU and then split the screens to one player on one screen and second player on another??

In simple words, i want to split screen Monitor wise, half screen on one monitor and half on another, both connected the one system.

If so, can pls provide me the procedure.

You can do so in any new games..

Just goto nVidia/ati Control panel and seect the option... Go on and play the game

First i have to connect 2x monitors to a single CPU. Then i have to select that option in ATI Cp and then start the game and select multiplayer split screen?? Am i right?
