Audio Splitting Audio Output from Laptop

Dont know if this problem has been addressed before. So here it is:

I want to play different audio/songs from my Laptop (window 7 operating system) through different output channels (USB & headphone out).
For example: I will play music on my USB speakers for other people in the room, while I may watch movie with headphones. Is it possible ?
Maybe there may an audio video application which can control from which audio output it may send the sound.

Almost all apps should be able to do this. in settings pages you should get an option: Audio Out: Device Name, you can use two apps side by side, and have them output their audio to different devices.
